
"These hazardous conditions is [sic] expected to occur in response to a significant increase in Gulf moisture," says the NWS. "Meanwhile a weak cold front will move into extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks, and become a focus for storm development. Temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s, along with dew points moistening into the mid 60s, will create an explosive environment for robust storm updrafts."
