Angel (?) food cake

Maybe next time an angel will help Rachel make one, but this evening's angel food cake flopped — literally.

She made an angel food cake from scratch, and the compiling of ingredients and cooking went very well. When she flipped the tube pan up on the glass bottle with the cake (as angel food cake is done), things still seemed all right. As I was folding some laundry in the bedroom, however, a crash and yelp from the kitchen wasn't music to my ears.

As you can see, the bottle toppled over and the cake landed on the counter top.

I guess we didn't need the calories anyway...
