Rachel dragged me to another animated film by Disney while we were in St. Louis over the weekend.
Much to my chagrin, this movie was actually entertaining — for the kids and adults. (I don't mean hidden jokes only adults understand, but rather material to which adults relate.) I thought it had a very great message about making your own adventures in life — again appropriate for kids and adults alike.
The synopsis of the film, according to Yahoo! Movies:
Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Junior Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life.Going into the film, I knew absolutely nothing about it, which I think made it even better. That being said, I won't embed the trailer for viewing, but you're welcome to watch it if you must.
