We finally got a piece of the pie (after it's cooled anyway)

One might have thought it was March around here today, but, no, we weren't celebrating Pi day or anything like that.

It's just another day, but Rachel has definitely made it better by making a homemade apple pie.

She used all fresh ingredients and made everything from scratch. Since every store-purchased pie crust has trans fat and/or partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (aren't they one in the same?), she had to make the crust, too.

I'll let you know how it tastes when it's cool in two hours.
