Rockin' It!

After months of blood, sweat, and tears (literally), Rachel has finished creating a dress and submitted it for a chance to win a trip for two to Paris or New York. As you can see, the dress features a lot of intricate detail that proved challenging at times, but I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find a dress similar in any store.

Whether or not she wins the competition, which is an effort provided by Simplicity Patterns and Hancock Fabrics, she has a nice, high-quality dress she can wear to any formal occasion.

On another note: Thank God she's done. It's been fun, but I'll be glad to not have string, tulle, and other sewing paraphernalia scattered throughout the house for a while. Plus, I'll enjoy not being ignored all the time. ;)
