Another taste of winter coming

The computer models are still flopping around, but we could, at the very least, see some icy conditions at the beginning of next week — anywhere from Sunday night into Tuesday.

Tonight and tomorrow's runs will probably better pin down what we could expect, according to the National Weather Service forecast discussion:
...MODEL SOUNDINGS INDICATE THAT PRECIPITATION IF IT DEVELOPS WOULD BE A WINTRY MIX OF MAINLY FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET.

THE TIMING AND TRACK OF THE UPPER TROUGH WILL IMPACT OUR WEATHER THE REMAINDER OF NEXT WEEK AS WELL WITH THE POSSIBILITY FOR MORE PRECIPITATION.

MUCH UNCERTAINTY EXISTS IN THE EXTENDED FORECAST. WHILE THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR WINTER WEATHER EARLY NEXT WEEK...THE TIMING AND PLACEMENT OF WEATHER FEATURES AND THE RESULTANT PRECIPITATION CANNOT BE DETERMINED WITH CONFIDENCE AT THIS TIME.
