KOLR 10 unveiled its new look yesterday, which included a new set, graphics, and music — as Aaron's Articles anticipated earlier this month.
My opinion? I'm not overly impressed, honestly. I feel like everything looks too dark on set. The graphics don't seem like they're an actual package, but rather a compilation of various graphics packages. The music reminds me of news music that was around in the mid to late 90s.
I feel that if you're going to spend some money to update, make sure it's an upgrade — not just change for sake of change (or as a gimmick for sweeps to bring in bigger numbers — that's right, we all know it was planned).

I actually really like it. I think it is a fresh change and it is an improvement over the old set. I especially like the weather graphics and the new logo.
I just wish they would get a stronger digital signal. All the other stations come in just fine. What's up with "No Signal" on KOLR 10?

I would like to say,however, that I do agree that the set looks dark. I am hoping that it might grow on me?

The new announcer's voice grates me the wrong way for sure. I agree this was a step backwards.
