Tornado/funnel cloud reports

I created a map to display where all of the area's tornadoes and funnel clouds were spotted throughout this morning's severe weather event.

I, like many other students and staff members at my school today, was up during the four and five o'clock hours this morning watching news about a tornado warning for Greene and surrounding counties. We had minimal damage in the city, but a few areas (close to West Plains) sustained lots of damage. The worst was the report of a seven-year-old girl's death from injuries sustained near the Caulfield tornado.

It will be interesting to see how active this spring's severe weather season will be. I'm glad that the probability of winter weather is becoming less and less likely.
Hasta pronto.
