Confidence remains in upcoming winter weather system

This morning, an upcoming storm system is still looking a little uneasy. The National Weather Service says the system could start off with some strong to severe weather Sunday evening and switchover to freezing rain:

...Major Storm System to Affect Region...

A major storm system will begin to affect the Ozarks region by Sunday night as a strong arctic cold front will move into the region. Strong to possibly severe storms may affect the region along and ahead of the cold front. Meanwhile...temperatures will drop sharply from the low to mid 50s ahead of the front to the upper 20s behind the front. Due to the initial shallow nature of the cold air...freezing rain will likely be occurring after the frontal passage. As the cold air depth increases behind the front...the freezing rain will eventually change over to sleet and snow before ending by Monday night. Another upper level disturbance may affect the area Tuesday into Tuesday evening bringing additional chances of light snow to the region.

Will we have school next week?
