Sushi and Pie

An odd combination, yes, but we had it tonight.


As any culinary artist, Rachel decided to make another all-homemade apple pie again tonight; the first one went fast. It was another taste of success.

As for supper tonight, Rachel gathered up the fixin's for sushi. We've made sushi before, but it's never been as good as the rolls we made tonight. They had shrimp, crab, cream cheese, avocado, and my personal spicy mayonnaise concoction. The rice turned out very well, too, and our rolling techniques have improved.

Now, let's just pray Rachel finds new employment soon so we don't get too fat around here.
